Default Will these speakers fit

'94 4-door Jimmy, I want them for the back doors. Amazon says they will but Crutchfield says they wont.

Look for what? Mounting depth is 2 inches, there are some speakers at Crutchfield that are a bit deeper than 2 inches but supposedly fit. I'm wondering what would make the above speakers not fit or if Crutchfield just made a mistake.

The factory size for my '94 blazer rear doors was 6 3/4" it took some minor fab work to make a new bracket to fit the smaller 6 1/2" speakers in but is very doable but since it is not direct bolt in crutchfield says won't fit.

they'll fit no problem. i have had a couple different speakers in my doors that fit no problem. so, 2 inches is more than shallow enough. it'll sound much better than the stock set also.

i have 6.5 inch components that fit no problem and are 2.5 inches deep so you don't have anything to worry about
