Blazer has been fulfilling the duty of workhorse for the Wife's business. Truck has been doing everything I ask of it, can't complain. Even got 22mpg from gas station to gas station on a recent long haul fully loaded, 100% highway. ZR2 bars are sitting in the corner as well as door pins for both sides. I washed and vacuumed it recently but she needs a good clay barring and an industrial strength vacuum to be 100%.

Man it really is amazing how something so simple as just wheels and tires can make a truck look totally different! Truck looks great, definitely subscribed to see further progress.

Replaced the door pins on both sides a month ago and put a new starter in it today. Stocker lasted 'til 118k roughly. Big thanks to Kyle for pointing me in the right diagnostic direction.

I would REALLY love to get the t-bars in, fenders buttoned up and alignment done before winter hits. We'll see what happens.

Nice ride! You did a really nice job of fender trimming and those wheels look damn fine on the white truck.

Gonna do some clear lights and stuff in the future?

I fudged the fender trimming for pictures. I officially now have all four flares. After looking at what's needed to make them fit, I'll most likely just get some ZR2 fenders for the front to cut down on extra cutting. Rears will need some cutting no matter what.

I'd really like to do Bravada headlights/grille with Jimmy SLS bumper cover. I would clear the headlights out for sure. Tons of plans, just trying to pull it all together.

I'd like to do intake manifold gaskets real soon here. Oil seems to be getting thin and I want to catch it before it's too late. Since Fresh10 will be down for a while, it's important to have the Blazer in tip top shape.

Intake manifold gaskets scheduled for two weeks from now. Picked up the metal gaskets from RockAuto. I'm buying the coolant, brother is providing the shop oil and filter and labor. I'll be helping of course, but he's done so many through his job that he has it down to a 3-4 hr job instead of the 6-8 listed for book time.

Intake manifold gaskets are done. Turned into a two day ordeal. Turns out #4 and #6 cylinders weren't getting fuel because the poppet valves were stuck closed. Had a P0300 and remembered reading the horror stories on here. Took the upper intake off and cleaned the poppet valves before reassembling. Fired right up and no codes. Had the intake upside down while cleaning it so not sure if something got disturbed there or if some foreign material somehow plugged them. I have a feeling I'm going to be replacing the spider anyway, but for now it drove great immediately after and the whole 3 hour ride home.

Pics to follow of the old intake manifold gaskets. Two main failure points and a few more ready to go. I did take an oil sample before doing it so I will have to send that out to see how much mixture was going on. Oil was never milky, just seemed thin. I'll do another oil change in 500 miles to make sure everything's clean, then I'll take a sample of the next scheduled oil change to see the difference.
