Default 01jimmy mud truck

Hey I have a two door 2001 jimmy 4x4 5spd and i'm gettin sick of it cuz i really want somethin with more power and will get through a little more mud. would it be worth it to drop in a v8 and lift it or would i be better off to just buy a full size truck? by the way its kindof a limited budget too

doing a swap would be awesome but it'd cost more than buying some good old 4x4 beater that you can just demolish on the trails

yeah I would look into a k5 blazer or a 73-87 chevrolet/gmc pickup. Most of those that would make good mudding trucks can be found pretty cheap and most have v8s and are straight front axle for easy lifting.
