Thanks guys.. So today didn’t go as planned or anywhere near as planned. I took it to the shop for an alignment and they come back saying they can’t do it because my passenger upper bj is shot and loose. To add on I didn’t even think the new rims would have a bigger centre hub so now the new rims aren’t centred perfectly on the hub and it’s making for a rather rough ride at high speeds. The tires also rub at full lock at least it’s nice to look at.

So I just got 70.3mm to 83.82mm aluminum hub-centric rings I really hope that is the correct size… also got a moog bj should be here Monday then I can get an alignment.

Got the new bj today.. will install it once the hubcentric rings come as I don’t want to put the rims back on without them. Also trimmed my fenders today. I cut a pie shaped piece from the back of each fender and I don’t think I rub anymore. I just find it strange how my front end is jacked up 3.5” from stock and I was still rubbing with 31’s?? I thought 31’s only require 2” of lift from stock height?

I'm pretty sure trimming is normally needed with 31s.

Thanks I wasn’t too sure, I was just going off what’s said in the “what tires can I fit” thread

Took it for a test drive off road today for the first time since at stock ride height and all I can say is wow… alignment is not right, wheels not perfectly centred to the hubs and it still drives wayyy better than before over bumps. It must be the new body mounts making all the difference but damn it’s incredible! I am still rubbing but just the smallest bit. It’s only on the lowest fender liner bolt on each side so I will probably remove that tomorrow then be in the clear from rubbing at all!

Thanks! Not sure if you have ran into this but the lower bolt on the lifted shackle taps the exhaust while driving and I almost thought my exhaust was gonna fall off while off-roading yesterday just because of how loud it is. Maybe you or anyone else on here has ran into this??

I have not had that happen, but I also don't have a pipe from the muffler back lol!

Maybe take a look at your exhaust supports, or turn the bolt the other way?
