I like that build. The big Blazers are getting expensive thou. Looking for a K5 to restore one day.

Yours is looking great.

Glad I kept it all these years.

Was watching one of those goofy overhaul style TV shows and they bought a '76 rusted out pile of junk for $8000 to start with.

That inspired me to get my *** in gear haha.

Some body prep .... gotta have some bondo.




The hell with rivets, I screwed the rocker panel into some angle iron. Nice industrial look.

Dakota Digital gauges, hook up was easy (once I got the plumbing parts for the oil sender).
They really do look sweet lit up.
I drove it for years with a non functioning fuel gauge, so this is luxury.

Worked on the vent windows ... new handles went on easy enough, couldn't quite get the hang of stuffing the new weatherstrip in place ... after watching a few YouTube videos I'm on the right track ...
