You could do a badass looking red baron snoopy. The skull is looking good though!

Default Still plugging away

Thanks Guys for all the ideas, Im running out of time so Im not to sure how much airbrushing I will be able to do. I wanted to do a lot more but I want to get this thing painted before the bugs start flying around so that means Im painting it this weekend.
I just finished up cutting these stencils. I have a few more to go.

Default frame off resto mod

looks good, we are paddling the same boat as far as the frame off work is concerned, i like the way you did the frame treatment.
i did the old fashioned wire brush and pressure wash, it would appear we dont have the rust problem you do.
i am putting my 97 4x4 jimmy chassis under a 54 dodge panel truck, odd i know, but i couldnt resist the mater look.
looking forward to seeing your progress pix

i need to upload pix with engine and xmsn
separation, hillbilly style
air brakes holding nicely

Hi boudreaux55
Thanks for sharing... I think that's actually a good idea, will be cool once its all done. Was the Dodge Panel Truck originally 4x4? Your frame looks to be in really good condition.

I run into a couple problems tonight. Its got me stumped on how to fix it. If I open the rear drivers side door while the front drivers side is closed it wants to rub. Check the picture. I think this was a problem before I painted it and I wish I would have paid closer attention to the area but I didn't and now I'm pretty sure it will rub the paint off. Far as I know there is no way to adjust the doors

and holy cow, for the life of me I cant get the front exterior door handles hooked up. I cant fit my hand up inside the door and if I attach the linkage and lock cylinder from the outside I cant get the handle in the hole.

Its pretty much done. I still need to get new wheels, but other than that the exterior is done. I still need to do some interior work, fix driver's seat, new radio, I need the plastic trim piece for the tailgate, and a couple more interior trim pieces but Im ready to drive it. This week I will get plates, insurance, and an alignment.
