So I went to remove the roof rack and holy **** what a pain in the ***. One bolt snapped off, two of the other bolts the nut would spin and no way to hold the nut. So I had the roof rack completely loose and I had two bolts that I could not remove because they was just spinning in the hole. So how to remove these bolts? Well after some aggravation I decided to get the plasma cutter and try to burn off the heads of the bolts, well it sort of worked,, the heads just got hot and pulled through the plastic luggage rack pieces, so then I tried to clamp vise grips on the nut that was spinning but that was a joke so finally, I got the bright idea to just tack weld those nuts.
I will use washers when I reinstall the luggage rack on the two bolts that the heads melted through the rack supports.

And here is where I am tonight. I bought a used paint shaker today and its bad *** I have it in the video, I get excited over the smallest stuff sometimes.
Thanks chevyrider, yeh me too I had never seen one like that before until I bought this one.
Man its been a while since I updated. Im still working at it when I can. That cold spell we got really set me back and I got that stupid flu bug that was going around.
So I had to make a homemade paint booth
First thing I had to make was my ventilation.
I put some doors on it so when Im not using it I can close it off.
Looks like a Dexter set in there😂 you have got a lot of talent to be doing all this stuff at home. Its gonna look beautiful when you are done with it. Keep us updated!
Great job on the home made booth/ventilation system! Polyester primer works wonders on small waves. I use it on fiberglass/smc cars a lot. Careful if you use it over any bare metal- it doesn't adhere well. I'd recommend using a direct to metal primer underneath before polyester on any bare metal.
