2000 Boring Blazer Build
#182
So this is how I decided to spend my weekend.
Here is a list of everything
Raybestos 445-1052 Professional Grade Steering Pitman Arm
ACDelco 45C1043 Idler Arm
Moog ES3462 Inner Tie Rods
MOOG ES3584 Outer Tie Rods
ACDelco 46A6004A Adjusting Sleeves
Raybestos 505-1104 Professional Grade lower Ball Joints
Raybestos 500-1057 Professional Grade upper Ball Joints
Moog K6530 sway bar bushings
DORMAN 722028 Spring schackles (which I didn't get to. I think I Might pay someone to do it)
I also replaced the power steering cooler lines with some bulk line that I picked up from Advance.
I got everything done and got it aligned. I also drained out as much dark brown power steering fluid as I could and refilled it. The steering feels way firmer and it doesn't knock going over bumps anymore, probably because all of my ball joints are now in 1 peice.
Old vs new pitman arm
My steering box. It is dirty and rusty but still works okay.
Also, I am hoping to get tires this weekend, but my schedule is so crazy for the next few weeks it may not happen.

I forgot, I also got these on clearance from rock auto (about $12 a set). The fronts are at about 75% so they aren't getting replaced, but hopefully I can get the rears done this weekend because they are shot.
