Did you have to do anything crazy for the LED license plate lights?

Nope, just put 2 194 white LED lights in. However, those light housings are a nightmare to get back in. I think it would actually be easier to remove the bumper to replace them.

I got tired of looking at the flaky paint on my roof rack. So I took it all apart and sanded it down and shot it with hammer finish black. For some reason it turned out more of a charcoal but I actually like the color.

This is how all of the end caps looked before.

all the pieces got 3 coats.

So, they block photobucket here where I work. So here goes. I slid of the road today and hit a bank pretty hard. I know I need a bumper, a hood, a fender and grill. It doesn't look like it hurt the core support. I think it may have damaged some of the steering because it pulls to the right a good bit and State Farm thinks it will be totaled. If it is and the frame isn't damaged I will probably buy it back and fix it myself. I can drive it but when I turn left my tire hits the fender. They are coming to get it and take it to the adjuster's on Tuesday. I will post the pictures when I get home this evening.

This is a good read! I especially like the score on the stealth sub box! Good job so far on this Blazer, I'll have to keep an eye on your build

I must have hit something with the tailpipe when the back end swung around after the front hit, because the hook is about 4" too far forward from the hanger.
