Ordered Cobra 29 LTD Chrome edition, 4' Firestik, mount, antenna spring and some firestik coax. Should be good

Well, I can't say everyone's going to agree with me, but I'm adventurous. I drilled into my rear hatch (Took apart all my rear trim looking for anywhere to bolt my mount to, no luck ) I finally found an access hole, above the 'blazer' on the hatch, so I drilled and mounted there, ran the wire up into the black plastic, through my pull out cover. Under my rear + driver seats until I reached the ash tray! Where I have it mounted, I can't open my glass unless I unscrew my antenna, but I have enough slack to open my hatch completely. I still need another screw into the left hand side of my radio mount though. Aside from that, works awesome!

Nope, don't like it because of the glass not working...

However at least you have a hatch not a tailgate like mine, so it's still functional.

I mean, if I *really* have a strong desire to open my glass, I can simply unscrew the antenna lol. I'm not overly worried about it

Nice truck where did you get the bull bar from for 80? And where does it mount to?

Also, I've heard a lot about premature wearing with the Goodyear wranglers any input in that?

I found my bar locally on our city's classifieds...bolts to my frame via tow hook area. My Wranglers have kept up good for now, I have wear on my passenger side due to alignment issues, however my rears are showing no noticeable signs of wear as of yet.
