So, this past week i had time off of class and did some more work to the blazer. I decided i'm going to build a center console so that i can put a small subwoofer in it, place my switches on it instead of the dash, and to raise up the armrest because i'm 6'4" and the original is a little low for me.

So far i have the shape cut out and mocked up, i just need to get some bondo or fiberglass to create some curves and make it look like it belongs more.

First off what it looks like without the original console

Now what my project looks like

Some supplies

Laying it out and drawing the general shape

Before i got to assembling it

Now heres what it looks like before i can get the bondo and paint for it.

What do you guys think?

I'm going to put some more pieces on the top of it and right where the shifter will be, i just want to get the bondo, and paint (i already have fabric) before i continue working on it. hopefully this coming weekend i'll have some free time (and money) to finish this up

Looks good so far man! Just make sure its going to suit you before you bondo and paint it. Idea for you- how about putting a piece of clear plastic on as a lid over the sub in there, and putting some LEDs around the sub? I think that could potentially look badass if done right.
