thanx i know its super nice :P i have the shackles waiting for the final day of fabrication to weld on i want to weld them as close to the mounting locations as possible also im not sure on lights right now i want to put some fogs in but ill have to use a hole saw since i didnt cut the holes on the cnc machine

no i havent had any plans on a rear bumper to match. This is all because i just dont have the money to buy another sheet of metal maybe in a month or two but if you want to fund it ill build it :P bahaha just saying xD

Thanks, for pointing me to your thread. Nice job, u gave me some ideas. I read the whole thread. What diameter steel did u use. 1/8 or 1/4??

How did u end up mounting on the frame rails? Did u drill the frame and weld in a nut to bolt it?

Opps sorry didnt see that 3/16 cool. Think I might go 1/4. But I love the idea

there is already holes in the frame for the stock bumper so instead of using my 2 inch body pucks i just put the mounting holes 2 inches farther down than i would have with a stock blazer

1/4 = 2x OVER KILL!!!!!! even 3/16 is overkill they make offroad bumpers for jeeps out of 1/8th

Yeah I know the blazer that inspired you..I dont know his screen name but Georges Blazer is awesome.. I used to see it all over the S10 forum also... I have always liked his bumper..I plan to attempt to build my own front bumper as soon as I can get my new welder..
Cant wait to see your finnished product..
