Now you're talkin'!! Trim painting's cheap and always a good way to spend an afternoon. Looks good - Dirty Girl's gettin' more custom with every post.

So I'm going to be moving in a month. Up to Gvegas, NC!

And Dirty Girl is coming with me no matter what, so the engine is at least getting dropped in tomorrow, we don't have money to put fluid in her, gotta save up to get a Uhaul and Trailer. And for gas...

So hopefully tomorrow I'll have a picture of a truck with an engine!!!

That's great news! Just get it between the mounts for now, the rest can wait. That's still a heck of big step forward, and it'll be a whole lot easier to move the engine with wheels under it. Can't wait for the pics!

Yeah! I'm gonna put all the painting on hold and do the engine. All I need to do is run my new Mechanical Oil Pressure Gauge... well its not new, came with the truck along with a Water Temp one.

Not sure if I am going to run the Water Temp one too, I gotta take the dash apart to see if they will fit in the original holes.

That dash takes me right back to my childhood! I remember a time when every vehicle I'd ever seen in my entire life had those HVAC slider controls and those round chevy gauges. Tilt too eh? Nice. (I just mounted a fuel pressure gauge on my hood tonight - maybe be a good place for that tach?)

I love my Slider controls!!! My hubby's stupid dial controls for his AC and Heat don't work worth crap! You turn it to full black and it turns off... lol

Gotta love my window and lock controls!!! The most non-ergonomic design ever!!!
