Did you bench bleed the master cylinder before you installed it? Makes a whole lot of difference.
Got an 84 Jimmy that I've been putting off getting up to speed again. You have given me incentive though. Thanks.

Thanks guys Yes, the master cyl. was bench bled before installing it, also the four wheels individually were bled. I may replace the calipers too, just in case. After all, brakes are one of the most important system on any vehicle. That way it will have all the brake system overhauled.

Update
After many months of other stuff getting in the way, I decided to take another look at the truck. My best friend scored a cheap parts car to fix his Malibu and he handed me the working brake booster the parts car had. So today I decided to remove the one in the Blazer. After separating the master cylinder from the booster, i noticed some humidity. I cleaned it with a dry rag and replaced everything back and pumped the brake pedal w the engine running. I separated the thing again and my suspicion was correct, the new master cylinder has a leak. I removed the brake booster anyway to take a closer look. I put them side to side for comparison, and I have a problem. The pedal push rod on the truck is longer than the other and I don't have the slightest idea of how to remove it and replace it to the other booster. Has anyone done it?

Selling the truck. No use letting it keep rusting away in the back yard.
