Well engine is still out, so decided there was some surface rust that needed to be taken care of this is current state, body base been completely sanded down and sprayed with primer, doing it two tone the bottom tone is done all that's left is the top Wich will be red

So update, block and crank are dropped off to be hot washed and bored over was originally gonna go with 30 over but after talking to the machine shop and seeing the block was already bored 40 over, am having it bored 60 over, they checked block and crank both are good which was a relief. Just waiting for the new pistons to come in ordered sealed power h635dcp-60 flat top pistons and sealed power E251K-60 rings. Pistons and rings should be here monday then can drop them off at the shop and finish up having the block bored over. Got to see her after she had been hot washed both block and crank looked great, will add some pics when I get to pick it up. Hope to order the rods in april getting eagle h-beam con rods crs570063d, floating style wrist pin and gonne be running speed pro lr63 piston pin lock rings. Then will have the internals ballanced. Having to space things out to keep the wife happy, hoping to have the engine done by the end of the year, Still have camshaft kit, and heads to purchase as well plan to run vortec heads of 2001 silverado.
