Yeah, the more I dig in to it the more I find out it needs.
Hopefully after Christmas I'll order some new metal and can get it welded in there. The whole front driver side is trashed, I'll try to get some pics of that catastrophe up soon.

i juust recently purchased an 89 k5 with pretty much the same syndrome but not quit as advanced.... although i have yet to rip up the carpet lol. look forward to seweing more

well it looks as if you got your self in to something ,, but i can tell you though if you love it and have a passion for you blazer then it will all work out for ya ., Oh have your kids help ya a little they will like it ,, especially when you do go 4x4ing with them. Jay .,, shout back jeepcj5jay

looks just like mine , that i am currently restoring right now. and yes LMCtruck.com and classicparts.com will become your best friend i should of bought stock in them!!! i will post some of my pics from my 1987!!! sorry im not trying to hijack your thread btw!.. just letting ya know there are others in the same boat! "my advice take your time and do it RIGHT!" after a huge restoration project like this, you and your family will be able to all enjoy your blood sweat and tears..
