Thanks you guys. Luckily I wasn't going around a corner and nobody was in the other lane. It locked it down and almost put me sideways. Pretty scary situation. Had to put it in 4-lo to get off the road.

I finally am able to get a picture up. I'll put up some recent work I've done as well.

Also, I don't believe I need ball joints. The "knocking" I'm hearing is obviously a shock. I can't find any play on either side with the wheels in the air. Oddly though, only with the weight down, I can barely move the driver wheel in toward the engine bay ever so slightly, hearing a "pop".. may be a wheel bearing.

Going to try swapping these rims onto the girlfriend's 95 2wd Blazer and then swap her's with fresh tires to mine. Anyone had experience with this? I like the offset look that they give. I know it can take a toll on the front end after some time. But $300 for 17" tires is cheaper than buying new offsets and having to buy new tires for them, lol.

I took out all the carpet due to water destroying it. Went ahead and undercoat sprayed the floors.

This is actually the previous owner's "best" wiring work. Seriously.. even the ignition wire to the starter and coil wires were just twisted together..

So I rewired the whole steering column and headlight switch.. the right way. I will need a whole new harness eventually when I put in the rebuilt engine, it gets worse behind the dash. A little vinyl tape afterwards and good to go.

Ran a little iffy when I first got it to the house. People must really believe Chevy on that "100K mile spark plug".

That is some sketchy wiring. It looks much better after the clean up. Did that blow out damage the wheel? It looks like it did a number on the edge of the lip.

Yeah man, I'll have to get some more pics posted, it gets worse the more I look. Everyone is an electrical tech these days. LOL

I don't think it hurt it too much, mainly just scratched it from having to drive it across the road. I'm going to make sure it beads and holds right with an old tire before I go any further.

So I just found some Sealed power Chevy SB 350 Pistons, rings, and ARP Studs that have been in our store through a second source for 2 years. Going to be getting a good deal on them! The pistons are for a .030 bore, which I need to do anyways being I found a rough nick in one of the cylinder walls. The engine I have was ran on a lot of spark knock and pre-detonation. Hopefully the block isn't screwed being I found it on it's side last night in the warehouse...

Alright, so this weekend I ordered a bunch of parts. They should be in before Friday. I plan to spend this coming up weekend installing them. Haven't had much time to get any other work done on it, including putting the interior back in due to our new GM has my schedule all screwed up.. has been denying me weekends and consecutive days off.

Anyways, here's my parts list.

From Rock Auto: $412.58 Shipping and All
Inner and outer tie rod ends (moog)
Center Sleeve (moog)
Idler and Pitman Arm (moog)
Front Shocks (kyb.. they'll get me by for now)
Sway bar frame bushings and end links (moog)
2 Universal joints (moog)
Motor and Tranny mounts (anchor)
EGR valve gasket (Felpro)
Intake manifold gasket set (Felpro)
Brake Shoes (Centric)
Serpentine Belt (Dayco)

Purchased from the store, forgot to order:
Valve cover gaskets (Felpro)
75w-90 Gear Oil for front diff (Lucas Oil)
Dexron VI for transfer case (Castrol)

Also if you guys do not use the wish app I would recommend it! Shipping usually takes a long time, but I just purchased a 7" x5"touchscreen radio for 86% markdown. Usually $500, purchased new for $75 with cost of shipping. Good reviews.
