well im on the fence i want to put a 305 tbi in my blazer can i use the stock transfer case and electrical componets?

 

A v8 will bolt up to your transmission. The part that is going to suck is the electrical aspect of things. The TBI motor won't have the proper controls for your newer 4L60E. And I doubt that your current PCM can be reprogrammed to properly control the TBI motor.

The easiest way to put a v8 into the newer SCFI trucks is to find an SCFI v8 and reprogram the PCM for the additional cylinders.

 

well i now have 2 blocks a 305 and a 327, im planning on getting a 700r4 with a transfer case and doing away with that dumb electronic junk

 

One thing worth mentioning is that a lot of that electronic 'junk' runs your dash, etc. It isn't a simple task to remove it all.
