It says gm lol... so far everything I've looked up is gm... they used blazer pics from the 95-97 models in some details, but has all info i needed to see about the 99 blazer, even info on the mothers 2000...
So after a long hard search with many failures, and lessons learned.... I have finally received the correct ball joint for my rough country arms!!
I received 1 of 2 ball joints today, and with a test fit before eating leaving the parking lot, it fits! Snug and needs pressing in, and the stem is the correct length and size for the spindle.
Pictures will be posted when I get them out of the truck.
Yea i was really happy when buddy help on to them for me too, I was gonna go when the truck got ditched lol, told him what happend, and either didn't sell or he held them. But I actually paid 25$, my dad paid the other 25 lmfao...
As per the ball joints:
So these are the right ones, the are for the updated control arms for the 2.5 rough country lift. Sometime between 2017 and April 2018 they changed their design. These ones are specifically made for their control arms, and only sold by rough country. They can only be ordered by calling in and asking specifically for them, as their site does not have them listed. You MUST tell them its for the updated version or there will be a chance of getting the wrong ones lol.
This has been a nightmare!
Original CA with new bj Test fit K6540 would have about 1/8 space all the way around it.
Well I now have a second set of the control arms, I'm gonna keep them as a spare for now, I will also order another set of bjs down the road to have, they don't take long to order in, but rather not have to wait for them.
They are similar to k6540, but have a bigger head on them.
Awesome Don, and they have a grease nipple.
BTW, great score on the Manuals, man I’d love to find one for mine. I ordered A set of manuals from the GM printer and ended up getting the Electric vehicle edition, grrrr
