Yeah, seems like a great kit so far. Price is good, too.

How does your Stereo look with the dash? I'm looking to change mine at some point but I'm looking for a clean fitting one that doesn't scream one size fits all

I'll try to post a picture later. It's much shorter than the factory one, about an inch and a half, but width wise it's much closer to the factory size. It doesn't really sick out of the dash very far and the trim ring is behind the dash face.

Here are a few pictures:

Sorry, just took them a few minutes ago, so the quality isn't the best. Hopefully you can get an idea of what it looks like, though.

Saturday FedEx dropped off my latest mod:

I coated it all in 3 coats of header paint from O'Reilly and got it all bolted up on Sunday.

I love the sound. I wasn't looking for anything super loud, but this gives it a nice throaty sound. Like the growl of a large dog. Sounds really good when I open it up a little. Seems to have a little more punch in the acceleration, too. I'm curious to see what the mileage difference will be.

Well, the results are in: about a 1 MPG (6.5%) gain with the new exhaust. Since I bought the truck, I'm up between 1.5 and 2 MPGs (exhaust and vacuum guage installed). If I'm able to do the mods I want to do (lifting, tires, etc.), those extra MPGs will come in handy!

Ordered some new tires, which should be here Monday. Since it's not lifted yet, I can't go with the 31x10.5 15s that I eventually want to put on. But I am going up to 235/75 15, rather than the 235/70 15. I got Firestone Destination A/Ts, which I had on my ZR2 and loved.

I really like the small things you've done! I never would have thought to paint the rear wiper arm. Great Job!

Thanks! There are a lot of things I want to do, but the lack of funds to dedicate to it means I sometimes have to do the things that don't take a lot of cash. Being 15 years old, there are plenty of things on the truck that need to be sanded and painted.

Felt good to get those worn highway tires off and get some new all-terrain tires put on! Rides smoother and looks a lot better. It's hard to tell from these pictures, but the 235/75s fill out the wheel wells better. I had these on my ZR2 and loved them. Great in the snow!
