98 4dr 14bolt - S-10 Forum

btw, what locker you have in those axles, the d30 is decent with mild offroad dd, my sis' jeep is lifted 33s but not lock, its our back up 4x

Damn man those are some serious axles! I wanna go full size down the road. Thats gonna look nasty on those H1's. Any progress? last post was about a month ago. And I have a aussie locker up front and limited slip in the rear.

The stock t-case is pretty damn customizable. I have a lot of cherokee parts in mine to work with the drive shaft. But with your axles... idk probably better to upgrade. That being said I have to have a custom driveshaft made now... haha the current one was the reason my pinion bearings were gettin eatin up. The slip yoke on the shaft was letting it vibrate going down the road and as it got worse so did my bearings. Luckily no damage to the ring or pinion. (yet)

Gotta head up to the drivelines shop on monday and see if balancing the current one will help or just replace the whole damn thing.

So after the last adventure.... I managed to collect a nice hand full of sand/mud in my front diff. That assisted to the destruction of the pinion bearings.
Ill snap a pic of the driveshaft soon. HooRAY!

Had several issues with the front driveshaft. After entending and completely rebuilding it and making it thicker I shouldnt have any more problems from it. YAY 4WD!

I also did some research and believe I found the perfrect coil springs to replace the wore out ones and spacer...
