Baby Semi Build
Sounds like a great idea, but that is one thing that I would not get from a junk yard is the spider assembly. but that is just me.
Maybe if i was hurting for cash and needed it cause it was my daily until I could save money for a new one. But never know, could get it and it work for a couple years. That would be shweet.

So after 3 weeks of working Im all settled up with bills and bought a new plow truck.
Now to give the blazer some attention again . Today I made an attachment to do a leak down on my sending unit. Im hoping its the spider unit and not the sending unit.

Your blazer is BA. I have a 93 2dr 4x4 with a 4.3 vortec, with the same lamp black exterior and slate gray interior (that's what chevy calls them). Your build is the first that i've encountered on numerous forums that's close to what I want to do with mine. Problem is that i've got wine taste with a water budget. I've got a thousand and one questions about your build and what parts you've got in it, but I'll keep it short; namely the grill guard and the cab visor: where did you get them/who makes them? I haven't been able to find anything close.
Side note, JCWhitney has a set of side pipes that would look great on your rig, and they fit with the semi truck style. (in my opinion anyway)Patriot CHROME PLATED DUAL SIDE PIPES - JCWhitney
If you're still running stock headers, you'd have to get adapters to fit, since the pipes are 3", and stock headers aren't.
Alternatively, LMC Truck sells a set of Hedman headers that are 3", and should give your rig a deep rumble, and they wouldn't require a pipe change to fit the side pipes.
