Yes, near stock mileage, but if your engine is revving higher you're generally looking at worse gas mileage than if it's revving lower.

Some of the decrease in mileage that you're seeing is due to the added weight and moment of inertia of having larger/heavier tires and wheels. Also, the added wind resistance from those things and your roof basket.

Don't get me wrong, I'm not ******* you on any of this... just saying that I don't think you should expect better mileage with the gear change that you're talking about.

gear change is a little out of my price range now anyway. there are other mods I want to put into my truck before the gears, I'm just used to only filling up 1-2 weeks now since I don't drive very far in the summer, back to school soon I'll be filling up twice a week... sucks

I hear ya. I can get about 16.5-17mpg when I keep my foot outta. But with an 18 gallon tank, that doesn't get me very far.

on a trip i can get almost 300 miles out of a full tank, I was in virginia this past week and I drove 285 miles from full and was on E, oh well I guess I shouldn't complain too much I'd rather drive a truck than a dinky honda

finallyyyyy got around to getting my 5th wheel for the back. looks even better than I pictured. Only thing that kind of sucks is since the backspacing is only 4.5" the wheel sticks out a little far but oh well its not that bad. and another thing the dakota M/Ts really jumped in price from in May when I bought them for $127 a tire, now they are $159 sucks... so my money is depleted for this week

oh and notice my reverse lights no longer exist... broke them the other night and if you look closely at the last pic I have a little battle scar the the rear door in the bottom corner. (ran over a tree and it fought back)

I think it looks a lot better too it just sucks that the rim was $50 and then the tire was almost $200 to get it mounted
