That front end isn't a 98+ it's the one that belongs on the truck, so 95-97.

So I have had my Jimmy for almost 5 days and I have found 5 problems nothing major.

1. If I lock the doors using the lock switch from inside the car, I can not unlock it with the key's.

2. I was told today that my rear passenger door doesn't open from the inside as if the child safety is engaged but it shows that it's not.

3. blinker's don't work

4. fuel gauge is pretty damn jumpy. is this normal?

5. I was also told today that the rear passenger side seat belt buckle is broken.
Got to get to the pick and pull for a working replacement.

Any suggestions on fixing these thing's? any info is great, if you can link me to a how to is even better.

Thanks for the help

Not many people come in here to look for questions that need answering. More for ideas, etc. You would probably be better off posting in the appropriate tech section.

the bigger question i have is, how the hell did your friend not know what he was driving?

kinda hard, since the YOM is right there on the ownership.

anyways, with a little TLC you'll have a nice DD, and learn all the quirks of dealing with the abuse others had inflicted on her.

GL with your new ride.
