Made a skid plate because the stock Alum. one was bending. 3/16" plate and some cutting and welding.

Well that beasty should take a serious beating. And lower your center of gravity. Nice work!

It is very similar to the factor alum. skid so I should be fine. Also, the temperature hasn't gone above 20 C (68 F) yet this year here so right now I am not worried about that. .

Just wondering are you using wheel spacers on the rear of your ride with the irocs? If so are they 1.25 or 1.5? Is that 1.25 or 1.5 on each side? Appreciate any help you can give man.

I have IROCs and I use 1.5" spacers on the rear of mine. Without the spacers they actually sit flush with the fenders, I just wanted them to match the front.

I am running 1.5" hub centric spacers on the rear. I think they look perfect. A ZR2 rear axle would eliminate the need for spacers.

The rough country 2.5 " lift on my blazer caused me multiple issues. Time for an upgrade.

The plan;

High pinion Dana 30 from an xj. Spring under with 4 " waggy softride springs.
Stock 8.6 " rear 10 bolt. With spring over lift.

4.56 gears and 35s KM2's.

233 t case with the chevy fixed yoke.
