That's funny my wife hasn't seen the blazer since I started the SAS so she has no idea what it looks like now lol!

 

Ball joints in and C's on.



Stock XJ steering may work to get it on the road. Upgrade will follow I am sure.



Replaced the yoke because the other one was damaged.





Got one axle ready for full C-clips.

 

Jared gave me a hand and we started mocking up the leafs after finishing the axle off.











Also finished of the stock size shackles to lower the rear after the spring over flip.



We had to move the front spring hanger back about 1.5"



I also replaced the u joints on the rear drive shaft that were squeaking.

 

That should be mounted on a wall. Awesome.

I'd rather have the axle under my blazer. LOL. I am happy with the progress so far.

I don't know how to respond to such a huge complement. Other than thank you. I have had a lot of help from lots of great people. Making the parts for me is easy but time consuming. The hard part has been planning ever thing prior to the big chop.

 

it all shows that this has been thought out for the most part before it was done lol

i swear im not trying to be like a dog on your leg but like i said ..some of the best fab work ive seen in my opion lol keep it up bro
