The work continues.

Jared is currently working on the shackle hangers.





I was able to remove the rear bushings on the spare rear leafs.



The rotors on the front axle were a little loose with the jeep rotor on the s10 hub. A small sleeve took care of that. It is now loctited into the rotor.



Some nice fella also picked me up an xj pitman arm.

I finished cutting the pieces for the shackle hangers tonight.

 

Man I seriously wish I had your fabrication skills. I'm trying to learn how to weld right now, and the thought of welding parts on my truck is pretty scary.

lol well ... no. We got a lot done but I'll leave it for blaz to fill in all the details when he has a chance.

 

Had 2 real hick ups.

Rear gears were damaged. Yes the new set of 4.56 gears that were to be installed. I picked up a new set locally and they will be installed this week.

The second problem was the brake line that is on the front crossmember didn't like the plasma cutter while making clearance for the pitman arm. An electrical harness also became crispy. Jared had spares on a parts truck so I was able to get them replaced tonight.
