That's looking pretty sweet. Can't wait to see pics of it in the woods.

heres my post as of yesterday....currently 120ish miles on 3/4tank of gas left.

So, did not go to tuttle yet again, but thats ok. sorry for the long post but i figured id give an update on all and anyone looking at the swap or parts similar to mine.

Drove the blazer since 1030am or so today and just finished about 430p or so. $50 to fill her up, ntb. went about 70miles or more total travel and even on the highway/interstate, gravel road, unpaved roads, and up and down a snowy/icy road which required me to use (and pray) the 4wd works. And it does.

My speedometer is about 10mph off. So i got it up to 65mph very little problems besides the camber being a tad off, no death wobble or tightly gripping the steering wheel it drives pretty damn straight. Of course with a welded rear and turning it does like it as much, im not use to that since this is my first locked vehicle. Not sure i like the locking hubs either but ive read that drive flanges cause more wear on parts, but i will need new locking hubs sooner/later because they are old and "sticky" sometimes engage right away sometimes not. But it works.

I will need a long spline front driveshaft i believe because i know i can flex this thing way farther, i used an xj shaft which a shop shortened but that was it. I have Procomp (8000 series or something) shocks up front which i believe are 15" travel, long yes i know, longer then i need, probably but i like the ride of them. I have 13" skyjacker hydros in the rear and with the aal and stock springs i like the softness of it. I would love to SYE kit the rear of the tcase, but dont have money for that and a new dshaft. but its in my future. Soon i will sell my other blazer and DD this one.

Again this did not have any wobble or shake on the highway at 65. it will need aligned again when i have money for the balljoint sleeves that adjust the camber degree. Ive got a lot of looks and comments and people really like it.

Any other questions just ask. ATM im trying to see my mpgs i get, interstate i have about 20-26 cruising but im not sure if thats accurate since the speedo is off. On the road im around 15-20 if i maintain the speed.
