Cool little rebuild for ya. Anyone have any info on this?
I guess I lied. I finished the seat, and it's installed now. Here are some pics:
This is the board after cutting it to the shape and size I wanted it.

Just after getting the vinyl stitched together. It turned out decent.

This is the amount of padding that is on this. For comparison, that board is only an inch thick.

Before getting it stapled, and then after getting stapled.

Here is a view of the bottom. I forgot to take pictures of what I did to get the bolts like they are, but you get the idea. Also, I kinda split the wood a little bit, so I put some wood glue in the crack and then screwed on some wood support beams.

I went ahead and masked off the outside lip, so that I didn't get any truck bed liner on the vinyl. It makes the bottom look like it's not wood. Plus the bed liner will make the wood a lot more water proof.

And finally, here is the seat installed. Looks great now that it has a seat in place. Unfortunately, my wrapping job kinda stinks, but I don't care. It gets the job done.

So there ya go. Some progress...finally! What do you guys think of my seat? I know it could have been wrapped better, but for the first time ever doing something like this, I don't think I did a bad job.
My next project is to get the tires off the wheels and then get the wheels sand blasted and painted. I'm thinking just plain white for the wheels. But I'm also leaning towards black. What do you guys think?

Chris, for a first time job that is a great install. my first wrap job of a sub box looked like crap in comparison, the only advice i can give i guess is to trim the material to conform to the shape of the seat.
i think white wheels would look cool but black would look different. i need a visual of it to say which is better imo

Did you see what the model # is on it? http://wiki.answers.com/Q/Value_of_a...dian_mini_bike
Could be worth way more than $400 like you're thinking if fully restored..

I found a motor today. A 5HP Tecumseh. Picked it up for a hundred bucks. I haven't gotten it mounted yet, but I plan on doing so this weekend. Most likely Saturday.
I'll have this thing ready before the end of August.
