Next year I want to rebuild my front axle components and want to order the parts step by step.

Yesterday I asked my buddy for an offer for both upper and lower balljoints, tie rod ends and the tie rod adjusting sleeves.
I want them from Moog.

Today he gave me a call and asked me if it´s okay when some parts made by Spicer.

Well, I never heard something about Spicer, but I seen on the www, that they are a a company of Dana(?) and some good experiences in some other forums.

The price is the same, so I ordered the parts.

Genius!!! looks Great keep up the good work and the updates. Spicer is good brand that what we use on all our heavy duty vehicles (buses & 18 wheelers).

Again this is AWSOME!!!

First, a happy new year to everyone!!

Thanks, war00, for your opinion about Spicer. So, i´m becalmed, that´s no scrap.

In fact, that here is no Winter this year and my buddy now got a hall, I want to install my new (more or less, it´s from ebay) black grill the next weeks.

If it doesn´t look good, I will paint it with chrome effect varnish.

The seats make some trouble, the lumbar cable is ripped and the lever for the backrest is brokened off.
I knew that, and wanted to weld it, but it´s made of zinc die-cast, and so I can´t weld it

Knows any one, if I can repair it with J-B Weld? Another possibility is drill a threat and mill a groove for a tight fit, but it makes a lot of expense.

For the backrest there are kits online that you can buy it and just bolts on to the broken part. You should be able to find it on ebay around $20.

Thanks for the input.
But I think you mean the plastic lever. Thats not the problem, my problem is the zinc die-cast bolt, on which is the lever bolted on.

Sorry, if I gave a wrong phrase, my english is not the best.
But, if you mean a repair kit for the bolt, please give me some keywords, I just looked for it, but iI didn´t find anything.

Thanks!!

Edit: I need something like this: http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...m=330651773482

Thanks, friends.

Today, I ordered the Repair Kit.
I´m happy about the fast, friendly and helpful service.
And the shipping costs to germany are pretty cheap.
