Itīs called "Xerapol Acrylic Scratch Remover".
It comes with 1600 abrasive paper, polish cloth and the polish paste.
I donīt know if its available in the US, but sure there will be anything similar.
It works well, but for very deep scratches you need slighty coarser abrasive paper.

But your question is justified. There a still people in germany who think in east and west.

Well we don't have gender specific words in English, which is my biggest problem with German. Allow me to demonstrate:
Dein Englisch ist besser als mein Deutsch! Und habe ich Deutsch funf jahre studiert!

TripleBlackBlazer, I think your german is pretty good.
In ths country are enough people, they are born here and domīt try to speak german. And another problem is the spelling reform, that cause many confusion even by the teacher.
Just like that: wallet was Portemonaisse, now its Portmonee.

Today I began to build my roof rack.
I get 6 meters aluminium profile and stainless steel 90° angle sheet.
So I milled and drilled mounting brackets, slot nuts, and distance brackets.
I want to mount the roof rack at the oem crossbars.
Because they are curved, I need the distance brackets.
Then I drilled the profile an milled the length on it.
At home, I mounted it.
This is only Stage one.
I want to mount aluminium sheets as shelf and mounting 4 headlamps on it.
