Default Engine Modifications in progress

1989 4.3L S15 Jimmy 2dr, 2wd: What started as a leaking oil pan gasket has progressed to engine upgrades. New Oil Pan/gasket, New Rear Seal, New Harmonic Balancer, New Edelbrock Roller Timing gear & Chain Set, New Edelbrock 3714 Camshaft, Rebuilt 1994 Heads to replace the 1989 heads, I installed ARP rocker studs with 1.51 Comp Cams roller rockers, new pushrods, Edelbrock Chip, Edelbrock 3713 TBI Intake Manifold. I am working on prepping the intake for installation.. The original AC mounting bracket has a lower mount for an air pump that my engine does not have. I found a replacement AC bracket in a local junkyard off a V8 engine that does not have the mount for the air pump and therefore more compact and bolts perfectly to the front of the engine.

In the process I am blasting and painting all parts. The original timing cover that was covered with surface rust and the timing tab was hard to read. The timing cover looks great blasted and painted in silver and clear coat, I polished the timing tab and it looks like it is chrome. I originally ordered the intake from Summit in January but it was backordered from Edelbrock all year. I found a one on ebay. I blasted the intake, polished all mating surfaces. painted the intake silver. My wife painted the Edelbrock lettering on the intake manifold in red and I clear coated the manifold.
