Default Fix hesitation

I am new to this. Working on trucks and such always wanted to learn. I have a 86 blazer that i am working on. Has a 4 barrell holley on it and it took me a while to get it running but i did and it hesitates a lot. What should i do. I have adjusted the idle numerous times so it doesnt bog out on me. But then it hesitates still. Is it the timing? Thank u in advance.

Could be timing, or it could be a weak or nonexistant accelerator pump in the carb.
