Hi,
i ordered those tires direct from the manufacturer in Italy. They'll be shipped to my house without any resellers. They should be here within two and a half weeks...

The winch is from a company called Rotfuchs...

And thanks for your nice words, would be nice to get a rating from you guys...

BTW, in january I'll live in a small house in austria, at about 1500m. There's no street up there, just a small trail with snow on it. I hope my blazer will make it up there in the snow, because If not I'd have to hike all the way up and put my food etc. in a backpack. That's the reason I ordered those tires...

well those tires look like they could chew through anything. I wonder how they will do on ice?

I think they're really bad on ice...

And now matter If you could get them studded, I'd be illegal in germany. Its legal in austria, but my car is registered in germany...

is there anywhere overthere that can sipe your tires? they do it over here and it helps out a decent bit on ice.

Maybe... I`ll first look how they perform...

Oh, and since I don`t have to go to work on friday, here are my weekend plans:
-finish my custom rear diff cover
-convert the nv233 to manual shift
-install a second ac-compressor for onboard air
-maybe get a rear bumper swingout started

Let us know how it works out. I read the how-to thread on zr2usa the other day and I'm thinking about doing it to mine soon. Are you going to convert the front differential to manual engagement too or just the transfer case?

Hi, yes I'll take a few pics when I'm doing it...

I already put a vacuum valve in the front diff actuator, so it's already a manual shift...

Didn`t get as much done today as I wanted...

I thought I could test my winch, but that damn thing stopped working. So I removed it and tried to figure out what`s wrong, but it`s still dead...

Then I removed the encoder motor and took it apart. I grounded down that part, because I`ll weld the shiftstick on that tomorrow:
