Jamaroon's S10 ZR2 Trail Rig
lol first gens didn't have the Z so I'm very biased :P
the tcase is from a first gen, and it did come with a floor shifter. I anticipate having some fun trying to make it work but that's what this truck is all about

from what I've found, they changed from one spline count to another. I don't remember what year that happend, like 92 or 93 I think. This one is from an 89.
edit: ugh.. I can't find where I found that now. I counted and this one is a 27 spline.... guess I have more searching to do lol

Is it the rear slip yoke spline you are talking about, or the front CV stub? The rear output is 32 spline if I recall.
The front on NP231s are 26 spline, the same as a Dana 44 axle and D300 t/c. In or around '95 they switched to the CV front driveshaft on most of the GM Np233 cases, and it has the smaller square cut spline that you can't get a yoke for.
I assumed you meant the input spline, sorry 'bout that...
