I posted this in the "what do you look like" thread, but I figured I'd post this in here too.
My son and I. Anytime he hears an engine sound he smiles and usually lets out a little screech or giggle. First time he did it was at the start of Mad Max lol. It's awesome, and my wife just shakes her head and says "oh no"..

again congrats with everything build wise and life wise !!!!Thanks, his teeth have started coming in so he's not so happy right now. But overall he is a very happy kid.
Good luck on your build, I'll check it out once you have a thread going. I've been gathering parts for a few years already. Plans keep changing and I never seem to get anything going. I'm hoping everything is finally set in stone now and I can finally get going on things over winter.
Thanks! He definitely has a way of making me smile, even when I was really sick and miserable a couple weeks ago.

He's a very lucky kid to have such a cool dad! Congratulations!

Not sure if these are available locally to you but if you can even order them they will be your best friend! Hyland's Baby Teething Tablets | Hyland's Baby
We used them on both of our kids and they are amazing don't know how or why but they work!

Ok. Paul's been bugging me that I need to update my build thread. So here we go.
I've been slowly gathering parts and taking care of a few little things here and there.
So far for the SAS I have:
- Set of used Warn locking hubs for the D60
- A used (actually never been used) Grizzly Locker for the D60
- 5.13 gears for the D60 and 10.5
I also have the wheels that I posted the one picture of earlier. I bought a set of 4 for $150, and another pair for $80. So I have $230 into 6 17" aluminum 8 bolt wheels... not too bad I'd say.

I painted one wheel so far, but because I wasn't sold on the design at that point, I decided to mount one of the tires to see how the whole package would look.

I'm much happier with the paint scheme with a tire on the wheel, so I'm going to run with it. Now to paint the other 5
....
I also picked this up on Monday. I've had the idea for a while now, it's a hood scoop from a 78-79 Camaro Z28. I wanted it to go with the Z28 wheels. I won't have the wheels anymore but I still like the idea of the scoop. Keep something Z28 on it in the new form I guess. It's going to take a fair bit of work to make it fit but I think I can make it work.

And lastly, today's bit of progress... I was watching my boy while my wife took a nap, so I took him outside and he watched me make some power cables for when I finally install the winch. I managed to get 2 of them done before he got sick of sitting in his stroller. These are so I can mount the box in the engine bay. Still need to make one more.
