I think people tend to over exaggerate axle work. It's really actually pretty easy you just have to take your time and listen to what the paint is telling you to do and if you go to far with shims one way just go back the other way till you get it right. It's very time consuming but not hard now get out there and get it done man!

Well, the big problem is my very first axle set up is with used gears, so the pattern looks nothing like it's supposed to with new gears. I think with new gears I wouldn't have a problem, lots of information on what the pattern is supposed to look like. I haven't found a lot on what used gear patterns should look like, and the few I have found look different from each other and how mine look.

Right now I think my drive pattern looks ok, but the coast pattern looks a bit off to me. So I don't know if I should run it or try changing it.

I have also been working on some sliders for blaz. They're ready for him to weld.

And installed a heater in the garage, 7500 watt. Should keep the garage nice and warm so maybe I'll be able to get things done a little easier this winter

Your pinion looks a touch to deep try moving it out a bit and bring the coast side a little closer to center. You may also need to move the carrier closer to the pinion after moving the pinion out. It won't be perfect but it should be better.

Made a bracket for the new inverter. Needed to space it away from the panels since it's so much bigger than the old one, and I didn't want to have to make new holes so I made the bracket to mount to the same spots as the old one.

Went wheeling over the weekend. But had to address a couple things Friday night. The blower motor I put in a while back was making some unpleasant noises, so for the sake of my sanity, it needed to be changed. Managed to do it without partially removing the fender this time, but I needed to move the computer out of the way.
Replaced it with a new one this time, so hopefully I'll never have to do it again. Might burn the thing down if I do.....

The Inverter also has trouble running my air compressor at idle, so I made a quick and dirty adjustable high idle bracket. The bracket itself could be a little stronger, has a bit too much give to it, but it worked and that's all that really matters.

First mod I did was replace the front tow hooks with custom made shackle mounts from a buddy of mine that was making a new bumper for his blazer.

The fender flares weren't in great shape paint wise, and there were large portions of the rockers and lower third of the body missing paint with some surface rust. Cleaned it up and used spray can bed liner to freshen things up, also added an extra leaf to the rear at this point.

Next I put on some carbon fibre tail lights

I have a 2001 4dr 4x4 all stock and I'm goin to put the 2.5 RC lift on it with 33x10.5 on the stock 15x7 rim. I know I'm goin to have to cut/trim a bunch but I got someone who's gonna do that. I was reading the posts and was just wondering if there is any advice to what else I need to do to it. It's my daily driver and I only plan on goin muddin a couple times a year. The reason I ask for advice is cause I saw your comment on the gear ratio.

You'll probably want a body lift as well to clear 33's, even with cutting.

It's probably going to be pretty sluggish for you, your stock gearing is likely 3.42. 3.42 and 33's and an auto is not a good combination. 4.10's would be nice IMO, but gear changes are expensive.

Okay what if I just went down to 32x11.5? I was just iffy about doing that because I read that 11.5 is to wide for my stock rim.
