just picked up a 96
Roof rack looks great. I have a question about it that you might can answer. Looking at reviews for different baskets, you see stuff like "it has a fair amount of wind noise at highway speeds". Ok, what exactly are we talking about here? A whistle? A widebody jet taking off? Inquiring minds want to know!
glad to see you finally got your mirrors on.
that's all kinda realative to the design of the rack (some have the built in deflector) and what you peceieve as "fair amount of wind noise at highway speeds".
all it really means, is you need to get that stereo install finished sooner!

this is what ive been dying to do cause its doesnt look like ghettoblazer5000 now........at least i dont think so
ghettoblazer5000 huh? Yeah I did my A/C last summer but Im going to have to take the compressor off and redo it agian because the bearings bad in the compressor. Has been since day 1 but I wasnt going to waste the recharge that I had done (obviously) after the new compressor went in. Fighting Advance Auto on the labor takes 6 months to a year usualy (used to work for em)
I have an odd virbartion in the steering wheel as soon as I hit 60 mph..... and faster i got worse it gets. before that its not noticeable....
heres updated pictures from my weekend.. i was the only 4x4 out of my friends this weekend so we just piled in but didnt want to get stuck so i didnt get that muddy.

looks like you had a fun weekend.
have the front tires rebalanced or @ least checked-and make sure they're clean & clear of dried mud (you wouldn't believe how many wheel jockeys don't check for that stuff).
while they're doing that, have them check your idler & pitman arm while it's on the hoist. normally it'll be a idler that affects high speed wobble (vibration) but a bad pitman isn't helpful either.
