I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but the cap is not going to help your headlights dimming, what you need is a larger alternator. There is a mod on here you can find where you take the 120 amp from a fullsize full load truck like a Yukon or Burb, mod the mounts, and change over the pulleys and wireplug... That will fix your problem. The cap provides a surge of power, not constant voltage, so it wont fix it, it may help a little, but the alternator is the fix you desire. Another fix would be to switch that Kenwood amp for a D class Alpine, or something else top top of the line, they are much much much more efficient.
Looks good though, nice and clean. That amp looks neat too, what color does that top bar light up? Does it fill the cab with light?

well it doesnt dim my lights alot but enough to bug me and my friends was doing that and he has a truck like mine and that fixed it so idk lol and the bar glows blue and the triangle glows red , its not to bright at night so its not that bad, i have 12 inch LED black light strip im gonna hook up so it flashes when ever the bass hits

another update, just tinted out my third brake light.
i was wondering what you guys think of getting a 2in susp. lift and a 2in body lift. would that be good enough for running 31in tires on soft 8s?

i don't agree with caps. they're a waste of money really. get the alternator for a little more and you have a lot of room to grow. i'm running 1200 watts rms in my truck and only loose voltage on heavy bass. the ad244 swap is a great deal but if you want more power than that can handle you'll need a big alt and battery bank.
not a bad build though

caps are good for sudden bass hits b/c they require more power. if you really want to get rid of the lights dimming, you could a) rebuild alternater with a higher amp brush kit, b) replace the amp (which you should anyways.... class d mono block all the way!!!) or c) add in a battery isolator and a deep cycle (marine) battery in between the cap and the primary battery.
