GL man, no turning back once you start cutting frame...
Not sure what your plan is but FWIW If i chopped my cross member off i probably could have moved the front hanger back some and got a little better shackle angle with the waggy leafs.

Because I didn't buy a kit I have the ability to mount the rear hangers where I need to. So I will stick with the front cross member where it is for now. Jamaroon and I had done some mock up before I asked you for the measurements. It turns out our mock up frame location was bang on. (it is good to get lucky)
Your measurement of 46" with the weight of the vehicle will fit nicely with our 44 3/4" center to center location.
Here is a sketch of the rear shackle hanger.

Well not much of an update, but I picked up a 97 Rodeo d44 over the weekend off CL to match the waggy front that will eventually find its way under this thing. 4.30 gears and open carrier... Kinda sucks but i looked all over the place and couldn't find a 96-97 rodeo (read: correct width) with a trac-lok. I may just use the gears/carrier out of this in the waggy axle, and swap a trac-lok or some type of locker into the rear if i can find one.
I was told it only had 88K, but the fluid was blacker than black and Im thinking I should pull it apart and rebuild before it goes under the truck. Luckily i low balled the heck out of the seller and got it for almost half his asking price.

Another small update, I recently picked up another D44 axle with 4.30 gears and a trac-lok limited slip. (Rex found it on CL and shipped it to me, Thanks man!)
This axle is in much better shape than the other one i picked up so my plan for now is to swap the gears from the non trac-lok axle into the Waggy front and run this one in the rear.
Also,
My heat has sucked recently in the cold weather, so today i drained coolant and back flushed the heater core. Man, did that make a huge difference! The heat will burn you out of the seat now lol. I need to flush the whole system in the spring tho cause it looked like there was still a bunch of sediment floating around even after flushing the core and the rad. and adding 2 gallons of fresh coolant.

Damn I cant believe its been almost a year since i updated this. Haven't really touched the D44's since the last update... Still deciding if they are going in this truck or waiting for a different build. I did blow up the pinion bearings in the 8.8 and rebuilt it with new bearings and added a Detroit true-trac. I also fabbed some front bump stops and trimmed my fenders so my tires stopped rubbing with the sway bar disco'd. I have more than 30K on the SFA swap now!

I have a wheeling trip planned for this weekend so hopefully ill have some better pictures/video

I've been trying to convince my son we should do this to his blazer and I think I may be getting through to him finally!
By "this" I mean a low SFA like yours lol.
