He tried driving around the bad part but got stuck at the end, So I tried winching him from behind and it just pulled him deeper in the muck. So I had to cross and go around him to winch him from the front.

Plus love the truck, been playing with the idea of painting my zr2s rims black.

I Went to fleet farm and got some C channel iron in a 4 foot length, and got a small piece of flat stock steel. Put the pieces on the roof to see how they would fit. Made some measurements, did some cutting and drilling. Tacked them up, test fitted them to make sure they still fit. Than welded em up and put a coat of undercoat on it to stop it from rusting.

As for the wheels I say go for it, I had my factory wheels painted back for 2 years before I got my firebird wheels. But Im bias towards the blacked out look, so its up to you.
