Default Looking into building up my 01 Jimmy

I recently purchused a 355 ci longblock for a very reasonable price im planning to stuff it into my 01 Jimmy after the snow melt's next spring

i already plan to purchuse the "swap in a box" that includes the headers, oil pan, pickup gaskets etc

my main concern what to do with the cooling fan

and i was considering going carb to avoid messing with wiring

being a ford guy mainly ive never messed with GM electrical

would the harness in my truck be able to be spliced with say a TPI harness easily?
