Default The BACKSTORY!

Okay, here's how it went leading up to the accident, I was meeting up with a buddy to go play paintball out in Middleburg and the field we were going too the owners dont answer the phone, dont open their gate, so instead of us calling it quits we we're heading to gainsville to play at a local place near him (I'm from Jacksonville and he's from Gainsville) So we were heading to Gainsville just cruising along and we get out of starke, now generally when you leave the main town there aren't any red lights well right outside of town roughley 3 MILES!! out of town theirs a red light at a crossing for a County Road. I was going below the speed limit as it was a very sudden red I slammed on the brakes and my friend was in front of me. Thank god i had Ray Bestos Brake Pads I stopped roughley a foot short of his Jetta and looked into my rearview and saw the Dodge Caravan right behind me trying to stop, She couldnt't, So the impact was at 45+ Mph (the speed limit was 55 Mph) She hit me and double tapped me actually and pushed me into my buddies car His bumper got a little scuff and his trunk was knocked off alignment. The ladys airbags deployed as she had dual air bags so the air bags at her shins bruised them badly and i almost fireman carried her out (Thats just me being me) She was taken to North Florida, and we stood on the side of the road for about an hour while i navigated my mom through starke (she showed up 45minutes later)

So it's time for my quarterly update. Since my last update I've left the s10 scene around here and have bought a 1995 Honda accord sedan 5 spd. I love this car but haven't had much in the way of funding to do much but I enjoy driving it. I leave jan 14, 2013 for MCRD Parris Island as a 0400 logistics mos so I've got 20 days left. I'll be doing my accord build here on this thread as its pretty much a restoration/improv project I'm staying away from dirty low budget builds and doing it slowly over the years.

That's my truck when it was totaled the car is coming soon. Also since I've graduated high school to this date I've lost 56lbs from 255 to 199. I'm also engaged to my high school sweetheart. It's been a helluva time this past year but I'm looking forward to tackling 2013 into submission! Thanks for reading

The brakes I didn't do I hate them I'm doing a disc brake swap in the rear and doing all calipers in flat black.

The paints okay it's not clean but it wasn't me abusing it so I'm alright with it. The rims are okay I plan on doing a 17" fitment on coils anyway

I plan on doing a Dohc Jdm f20c swap to keep it simple and daily able. I've replaced the speakers head unit and some misc interior parts. It's straight but I like the car and I plan on keeping it

January 2013, i left for MCRD Parris Island, I graduated April 2013 and got married the day after.

From there i was away for MCT, MOS School and now i'm stationed in Camp Lejeune, NC Since around June 2013, as 0481 Landing Support Specialist

That was just an example, so i'm all settled in about a year into my four i got rid of my little accord after costing me about 2 grand in repairs over time and stranding me in SC with a busted Harmonic Balancer (However that happens) I end up with two very dependable good cars two dogs and a wife and an unsatiable desire to mess with the cars.

2001 Nissan Maxima SE, 57k miles Auto, power everything, H3 Yellow Nokya Fog lights, 168 led license plate bulbs, 9005 sylvania headlights done. Coilovers/full system/cat back/ebc pads/ebc slotted rotors all coming soon

2007 Honda Accord Ex, k24 Dohc ivtec, auto, power everything, 65k miles, dealership maintained. this is my wifes car i haven't messed with it.. yet
