So last few time I borrowed the jimmy, I noticed there hasn't been any brake fluid. Finally found the culprit.

Rear driverside caliper has a tear in the boot. Dad said screw it and got a new one. Installing that after work.

He also bought my new shocks that are too short for the lift, even tho they were advertised to fit. Instead of paying me, he paid for the new rc shocks and boots I just ordered.

So I'm installing the coil over towing shocks on the jimmy at the same time as the caliper

I ordered door pins last week, and was told they lost my package. The wife came back with the mail today and found a package. Lone behold, it's my door pins! Got them from Amazon, cost the price of 2 of the gm brand. Going to try them out and see how long they last.

Figured for the price, doesn't hurt to try them out. Even if they are cheap bushings, can't be any worst...

Crappy update.... seems like I'm not doing my job! Lol

Found a guy that withat'll a rebuilt for 1100, only asks for the shot one back... he has a guy that can install for 800... haven't asked the shop yet....

But they did try to get an extra 500 ,$ from my dad for a job that wasn't guaranteed lol... I talked him out of it...

So the jimmy is getting dropped off at the shop, and the transmission should be done by the weekend.

The rebuild cost is 1100, will be rebuilt with upgraded parts, and will come with a new rebuild converter.

I'll get my mom to send me a breakdown of everything else when she gets it back.
