Default My 91 Blazer Project

Whats going on i bought My blazer threes years ago she is my baby i had issues with the rear and once the rear was shot. I bought another truck for parts i just started so i haven't got much done but ill keep it updated as stuff gets done

The Truck is a Red 1991 Chevy Blazer Fullsize 5.7 liter with some rust lol i bought it from a friends dad for $1000

This is the Parts truck i bought for $700 Tranny was shot but the engine was good only had 95,000 on it and he had a Detroit locker put in the rear less than a year ago

So Far I Havent touch the exterior or interior of the truck for the exhaust i bought Hooker Competition Headers, to glass packs on each side right out the back (http://rapidshare.com/files/303296806/Memo.m4a.html If you want to give it a listen its a mp4 files so if u have itunes ull be fine i need to get gaskets for the headers as u will hear it backfire hopefully ill be getting my video camera back soon), Throttle Bottle spacer, as for my electronics i have a Alpine IVA DVD receiver, 1800 Alpine Amp, And two 15 Kicker L5s, i swapped front and rear axles from the parts truck so it has the Detroit locker rear end, it also has 6 Inch Rough Country Suspension lift that i just finished putting in this weekend, I have the tires i was running on my truck before which are 33 so it kinda looks funny in the picture. But i plan on buying new rims and 36s soon ill post more pictures when there on there

Other than that i have all the floor pans that need to be replaced on the way and should hopefully have them in within the next two weeks other than that its an on going process to just make it more bad *** and like i said i will update the thread as more work gets done

Both trucks look awesome. The body on the parts truck looks to be in better shape though. Did you ever think of making the red truck your parts one and keeping the blue? Just swap out the engine? it would save what looks to be a lot of body work lol.
Looks good so far though. can't wait to see the progress. I love seeing these old K5's re-born. I'll have one someday..
