All those LED lights came too, and there is still some waiting to come in. So I have lots of combos to choose from, and as many for my new ride.

Its getting cold here now, and the snow will be blowing in no time, so the work on the blazer is going to come to a standstill since I dont have a heated garage. It would seem that the blazer is a total project now instead of a 'get something going before winter' vehicle... Thats OK, a man needs a project.

I am also expecting a baby in the beginning of April, we find out on the 15th what its sex is. Names will be either:
Richard Robert
Velda Vonne

In the meantime, I went and bought myself THIS so that I have something to run around in. Yeah its as nice to drive as you think! I love it.

So anyways, Ill update only when questions are asked, and when I get some new parts to add to the stockpile. I have moved all the new fenders and painted bumpers and stuff into the garage and packed away for the winter. OhSoFLY wont be able to try out the new shoes until next summer I guess.

I thought you said you were broke as can be. beautiful truck man. keep going on the blazer, can't wait to see the finished product

congrats on the child

MTopper - Thats how it started out when I lived in BC with that woman I moved there with almost 2 years ago... She wouldnt work, we had no money, she got hooked on prescription drugs, we had no money - so I left her. Since then I have moved back to Alberta, got my old job, upgraded my licence, met a few new women and make much more now than I ever have before. We are also dipping into the online moneymaking a little, so I hope I can retire and not work in the future...

Ummm... And we are also having BOTH the boy AND the girl... Ultrasound proved it... Guess my money woes are going to be coming back. They are due to join us in April.

Richard Robert and Vada Vonne will be their names.

We also got the woman a 95 Burban K15. She already has 4 kids, so add 2 more and you do the math... Options were a burban, short school bus, or econoline van... She likes burbans though.

BLAZER UPDATE

$22.00 x2 - Ordered 2 Vette Servos for the 4L60E trans in BOTH of my trucks.

I sold that Alero that was cloggin up my shop for TWICE what I paid for it! Booyah. That means now I have room to take you all some better photos!!!

I painted on some yellow lines on the junk front fenders to show you all how much I intend to dock off those brand new fenders with my new sawsall

Rear fenders are already trimmed. I took about 2" wide wedge from the front and rear, the piece was about 9" tall tapering like a pizza slice.

Took off the badging and side moulding and did a little grinding off rust.

MODS TO NEW TRUCK
- Purchased a few cans of 48U paint and clear and stuff. Going to spray Grill inserts, Bug shield, Ventshades, silver interior parts, plate frame, Bowties front and back.
- Debadged completely
$80.00 - Ventshades - will get color matched
- Bought a cool licence plate frame
- Ordered HID kits 5000k Hi/Lo and 3500k fogs
- Have the resistors to do the Hi6 mod
- Disable DRL and Auto headlights so I can cruise with just fogs on
- Ordered a tint myself pre-cut kit in 20%, will install it when it gets here in the shop at my work where its warm.

I had wanted to crank the Tbars up on it to level the front of... BUT... This truck has STRUTS not Tbars like I thought... So its not such an easy task to take that rake out of it... Argh.

Future wishes
- remove step bars and instal on the blazer after they turn black.
-35s and a lift.

The new truck is only 430 a month too! I put 3000 down, total was 21,000 on the sticker. Insurance full coverage is 104 a month! I love being over 30 now!!!

And yeah, I went from working in the terminal for 45-50K a year - To driving a big rig for 65-70K a year instead. My take home pay went up a little over 1000 bucks a pay cheque, its awesome! I am also trying to get hired on with HomeHardware driving... Their drivers make 90-130 a year depending on how much runs they choose to do in the year. Its also long haul stuff. My job now I leave town with my 2 trailers before dawn, and dont return till dusk... 5am to 7pm usually, means not alot of family time. We figured it would be better to go away for 3 nights a week, and get to go home for 4 to be with my new family when they arrive.

Im also thinking about buying my own big truck... A Peterbilt for sure...

Got a call from digitaldashsolutions today... I totally forgot to send off the old dash core, it was still in the Blazer. So yeah, I pulled that out and shipped it off with a tin of Timmies coffee to smooth things over Havent plugged in the new one yet.

It was nice stepping UP into the Blazer for the first times! Man that frigging dash is a nightmare to remove.

Waiting on those servos. I dont think I can use the second one as my new truck has a 4L80E trans from what I read...

Starting to really want a leveling kit everytime I see the rake on this thing... Maybe after xmas.

HID kits showed up for my Silverado, so those will be getting put on this weekend. Also might see my window tints tomorrow, in that case Ill do that too.

My GFs father owns a small bodyshop, I think Im gonna ask him about silver ghosting something on the sides of my new truck sometime, maybe we can bond over some paintwork. I have a cool idea stewing now that shes de-badged to a clean slate.

Man, having to conquer my first baby belly is quite the task when its twice as big as normal with twins! Invented a couple new positions I think

Nope, havent done anything since the snow started except smoke a joint while I sat in her thinking of what to do once its warmer again, and take some photos when I sold that Alero that used to be parked next to it... Oh and a couple months ago I tried to start it to take a rip around the block and park it nose in, it wont start now, only on ether. Now its my blazer, and my brothers lowrider S10 sitting in the garage for the winter. As for the bumper - Im not really able to do stuff like that and dont have a weld machine or the knowhow to use one properly, I was actually just going to see if I can hire the welding truck guy at the end of my block to come do it for me, and attach my rollpan too once i get one. Maybe hes cool and will charge me a neighbor price to do something cool to a truck? Ah well, I cant see it taking a pro more than an hour to cut some peices, weld em, drill em, weld my scoops on the hood top, and collect some money from me. A hundred buck is what they would be worth including shipping if I could buy something like this, so what the heck? Maybe I can tint his truck in trade even?

Im gonna get the bumper brackets made to stick the bumper out about 2 inches to make room for lights and wires and crap behind it now that Im hooked on HID lights

Its 3 inches, on second though, I should have gotten the 1.5 or 2 or whatever the smaller option was... Its a real PITA to get the cooler lines back into the radiator, and that extra inch would have been nice so I didnt have to bend the **** out of them and still not get them in. Dont get a 3 inch unless you can make the oil cooler lines a little longer by cutting and inserting a fitting like Im going to have do. Ill be able to deal with all that frame showing by putting the step bars from my silverado onto it and painting the frame black.

Its not really that cold, and I probably could do some stuff to it, but I got the new truck and its kinda got me tinkering with its looks right now. Ive spent some blazer money on the new truck. I think Im gonna get 22s for it for summertime too - the silverado that is
