Hey thanks man, I try to be. Im also credentialed cub scout leader when I have the spare time... Which isnt latley Not since truckin' anyway

Interesting is probably going to be a major understatement... Just hope I get to cruise a pair of babies to sleep in the blazer sometime in the next couple years.

Ordered some 10 packs of LED bulbs in various applications to use in the future. Contemplating putting those sweet v-led switchback signal lights on the front of my new pickup but not really wanting to start cutting wires on a truck thats still got a little warranty left.

Oh, and a sweet @ss "work light" to the tune of almost 90 bucks. I got a 25W HID flashlight, they are sweet on youtube, Ill make my own video whenever it gets here.

Well heres the latest thing I have built. Shes 27 weeks with twins here. Mid March is when I should be a daddy. Shes also 6 feet tall, so shes gonna be one huge mama! Thats cool it will be like sleeping with a new woman once its allover. I did call her on the boob cupping already, she claimed to be holding her shirt up

Thanks for the reminder.

Here is my babies

Gage Gavin, and his sister Vada Valin with their loving daddy Thomas. They were born at 0225 and 0226 via C-Section after 24 hours labor and not enough dialation, mom gave it and took the epiderral and C-Section. He was 6lb 7oz, and she was 6lb 1oz, born at 36 weeks on March 4. Another cool thing to note, they tied her tubes while they were in there so Im riding bareback now and dont have to go get a towel now boys!!! I snuck Vada down to the NICU for this photo, it was about 3 minutes before the red alert went out and they tracker her down via her ankle braclet to return her to the ward she wasnt supposed to leave. But I got the photo!!! I had no idea that little ankle braclet is a GPS locator as well.

Gage had to stay in the NICU for a week as his breathing was not the best. It sucked not getting to have them both around for a while cause he was not allowed to leave, and we werent allowed to take her down to see him.

Heres Vada a couple hours after birth with me. It was amazing experience.

"Watch it brother, Im a minute older"

*SMACK* "I thought I told you to watch it"

"Yuck Fou daddy"

"No photos please"

Gage is the crybaby, and Vada hardly ever cries.

Our family now has six kids in it, hence the SUBURBAN in my signature LOL

And this is what the Illverado is looking like now that I put all the parts on it. Procomp 2" level lift and the dubs. You can also see by the shadows that it took me about 2 hours to install it all where it sits in my front street with hand tools.

Beautiful dude , I love kids , I think mostly because I'm a big one myself . O yea I don't want to rain on your parade but my wife had her tubes tied to and she did get pregnant just a couple months ago . It was not good she was in the hospital for two weeks and we lost the baby . It was not planned or anything and we didn't want another baby but it was very painfully to lose another baby . Congrats on your two bundles of joy .

Well, got my family a bigger house now, the little one wasnt cutting it anymore... 5bdrm, 2.5bath, 2 living rooms (man cave, kid cave)... For a whopping 95bux a month more than our old 4bdrm house was. Its on a corner, so its got a huge yard that is fenced for kids to play, has a sunroom, huge deck on front, its a very nice house with expensive fixtures and nice things, not nearly as ghetto as the bargain bin fixture place we came from, but only a single garage for the blazer... She f its though. Here is your first real outside look at it since it got parked like 2yrs ago for mod work...

Drum roll...

Yes, i put the 5th tire between em so i didnt mess up the rado bumper.

Future plans - install all the parts i have laying around, hook up shift linkage, buy wife a new suburban so i can remove her 5.7TBI/700R4 to "donate" to the blazer... Rear roll pan, finish wiring that alpine system, and all the othet stuff.

Funds wont be a problem, i left Hiway 9 Express and now run westetn canada for Home Hardware distribution center in Wetaskiwin AB... Its a 45min drive from home but only twice a week. Here is my new ride. Its a 2008 International Eagle sleeper, Cummins ISX 425HP, 13spd manual shift. Pretty much doubled my income to 100k/yr plus 20-25% of gross yearly bonus! Booyah boys!

Best part is I dont have to worry that the truck Im running is going to break something ande fly off the road like the shotty Hiway 9 stuff I was running before. Home Hardware has won 4 of 5 years for the last 5 years the award for "Safest large fleet in Canada" and that is a HUGE thing to be winning. DOT inspectors wont even bother wasting their time checking out our rigs. Our maintenance is top notch, and NOTHING leaves the yard without being in perfect working order. This truck has 989,000 km on it and doesnt even leak a drop of oil...! If it did develop a leak, it would be repaired before I took it out for my next trip.

And here is me with the babies that are now 1 month old.

I was just reading through my build thread from start to finish and noticed the drastic changes that my life has gone through since I started my build. I love the direction that my life has gone, and it has been nothing but up and up and up some more.

Other interesting things to note:
-I have not smoked any weed since my babies were born, and I dont intend to do it ever again. The first week was a killer, but I dont even crave it anymore and find I have alot more money now I am not buying bags of dope anymore.
-Im glad to be back in Alberta where I am from. British Columbia just was not for me.
-I have like ZERO time for my Blazer latley... Hope that changes come summertime
-My overall well being has changed, and I am 100x happier now than I have ever been in my life.

Still havent had time to touch the blazer... Got the nut kit in a box still so i cant even start it. I did remove the Alpine deck and put in my work truck so i can listen to podcasts and burned discs.

The fuel pump went on the 95 burb, i got a new pump, it was faulty, i got mad and bought
her a 97 2wd burb we found for 700 bones. Its in great shape, leather, 5.7tbi/4l60e... The trans lost reverse and first gears. This weekend we will be putting a rebuilt in it. The trans was 1450 with 250 core, so 1200bux... The good news, the 4wd burb is already on stands waiting for me and the stepson to yank the 5.7tbi/4l60e to donate to the blazer. Again, dont know when that will happen, but we will tear it down and get a 400 stroker kit for it before it goes in. Found out the kid is a natural on the mig welder @ 11yr old, so i think hes hired to make the headers for the blazer and the Illverado. He really likes welding and does a great job of it! He seriously just watched Grandpa Dick make a weld, and then tried it and nailed it on all the rest... I took this stuff in school and still do a crap job, so I have my own personal welder now!

The babies are growing so fast now! Gage is 17lbs, Vada is 14lb and they are both all smiles!

Loving the paycheques at this new job too! Double what my old job payed, and ive been allover western canada now. Vancouver island to Winipeg, osoyoos to High River... Ive put 75,000km on my rig in 4 months!

Ill have some updates to my Illverado thread too you can all check out.
