Default My 96 Blazer...Then and Now

Well ive been part of this site for a while now and you guys have given me alot of inspiration on how i should "build" my daily driver. first a little history.
I graduated back in May of 09. i was given about 2000 as a grad present through CDs and bonds and so on. when i started looking for a car i knew i wanted a GM vehicle and i didnt care what it was. My neighbor tried to sell me his 86 trans am packed with a 305. now i was 18 so i jumped all over that. but to my luck i had several problems including that the car was stolen. I had to get away from that problem. then i continued to look until i found the blazer that i now have in June. it was far from perfect but i knew from as soon as i sat in it and started to inspect it, i was in love with it. i figured all of the problems out and gave 1100 for it.

the problems:
3 good tires and a bald smaller spare
no ebrake (dont care, auto)
no 4x4 (vaccumn lines were trash)
and the biggie, whatever jackass had this vehicle before me DID NOT know what to do when he had to use the spare tire...instead of throwing the spare in front, he put it in the back. this wouldnt have been a problem if the spare tire was the same size. so... this moron move started to tear away at the rear diff. ring and pinion. and it let you know there was a problem cuz if you got about 30 it would get louder and louder.

since then it now has a new rear diff, the 4x4 works great, still no ebrake, and a new set of 5 31x10.50s.

and the moment youve all been waiting for, the pictures
the attached pic is a pic of it the day i brought it home and threw some lights up top

when i got the truck, its was COMPLETELY STOCK. no mods at all.
i forgot to mention that when i got the truck, it didnt have the passenger mirror attached so i had to glue it in place till i could get a new one, then a tree took my drivers side. also that it had 143,000 miles and it now just rolled to 150,000

heres a list of what ive done:
new mirrors drivers and passenger side
replaced broken rear diff.
ive rhyno lined the bumpers, rocker panels, and inside the back hatch
it has a CAI complete with a K&N filter that came off ebay for $80
2'' t-bar crank and 2'' shackles
31x10.50x15s on a set of 15x8 alloy rims
dual exhaust thats loud for no reason
its gets its oil changed ever 3000 miles
im using bosch +4s and i love em along with ac delco wires
5000k hid like bulbs
brush guard
roof rack
6 AUX lights
vht taillights
converted all lights to LEDs
blue underglow inside
Pioneer head unit with Dual(yes dual dont hate(they glow)) door speakers.
wired for a system but needed money more...

I love my truck...

Nice looking truck. Your interior looks about like mine with the blue glow. Keep up the good work!
