lol just a bit. should've did a burn out on the old tire and made a video. ha

I certainly thought about doing that, but I didn't really have the time.
Well I got it back on and it seems to sit about half an inch to an inch taller now and is waaay more smooth in the turns. It certainly gives me more peace of mind to know I have tread.

well at least you got some new rubber. ha any more thought about re-painting it?

I don't know, I may do it this winter but we'll see.

Good to see you got some new rubber under there!! Back when I used to ride all the time when I was 18-23 I had one summer that I was replacing the rear tire every 7-10 day and the front once a month for like four months on my R1! No joke either I rode so much it was rediculous. I rode really hard back then and did rolling burnouts for all the ladys and such The front tire would get flat spots from setting the front wheel down at stupid speeds. I wish I could still afford to do that nowadays lol!! The bike is coming along really nice man good to see you didn't let the spill stop you from riding like it does so many other people. Keep up the good work and ride safe.

i agree rex He took it like a man and kept on riding

Apperently last night my manager (who rides a ZX6-R) was taking one of my co-workers home on his bike and they got rear ended by a drunk driver on the highway. My manager is in critical condition and my co-worker passed away after getting hit by a couple of cars.
It shouldn't need saying, but don't drive drunk guys.
