Your bike looks great .
I have put alot of hard work and sweat in mine this year.
Just got sprockets and chain for dilvered for replacement today ,17 tooth front 37 rear.Now if it would just cool off so I can put them on.

Well here's how she looks now.




I am kinda worried that the bike might not last too much longer. I was under it today and noticed this on the bottom of the engine block.


I've also noticed these stress cracks on the inside of the various engine covers I've removed.

Yeah that, the frame, and seat are the only real main repairs I still need to do. Mods on the other hand are a lot more fun.

That sucks about those stress cracks ,what options do you have for fixing them?Can they be welded with case removed or sol?

I really have no idea if / how they could be fixed. I'd probably sell the bike and get a newer one if they become an issue. If I decided not to sell it, I'd probably get a replacement motor from a gixxer or something.

I cant help but wonder if this is a common problem on this model of bike?I agree with those cracks the engine inst going to last long.Maybe you can welded a bead in a circle around those cracks to keep them from spreading.How difficult is it to remove the engine?Maybe you can fix it during winter time after the riding season ends.

It's probably not too terribly difficult to get out. Just heavy. IDK, we'll see how it all goes.
